Hi Honni, Well the show went absolutely fantastic!! I didn’t come in the top 3 in the WORLD but I was close!! Other girls had more size but that’s about it.

I got awesome comments & feedback from the judges as well as back stage competitors and the audience about how stunning I looked. EVERYONE loved my hair and make!!!!!

HELENSVALE SCHOOL KIDS ARE A HIT ON THE RAMP

THE Gold Coast BULLETIN, Tuesday, October 26

Helensvale High School made its own imprint on the psyche on the local fashion scene last week with an extravaganza on stage.

With help from boutiques based at Australia Fair, Pacific fair, Southport and Harbour Town shopping centres, 60 students put on a show featuring everything from surf wear to funky street wear.

The brief was to raise money for the school’s hospitality department, so English teacher Melissa Schoch came to the rescue with a grand plan for a fashion show.

With some support from clothing stores such as Bocoo, City Beach, Rebel Sport, Colorado, Lorna Jane, Jay Jays, Dotty, Insane, Supre, Target, Venus and Apollon, Just Formals and Harts, it was on with the show.

The event was topped off with a two-course meal catered by the hospitality students, a dance performance and top-class catwalk make-up by Honni Foley, a nationally qualified trainer in make-up artistry, modelling, deportment and grooming.

As you can see, Honni’s work put the polishing touches on model students Tenelle May and Hannah Pallister, pictured here in some summer fashion direct off the fashion racks.
